Abigail Erin Freestone

16th September 2003 - 8th March 2007

We want to share the news that our beautiful daughter Abigail Erin died peacefully in our arms at a little after midnight last night. We're so grateful that she passed away quickly and quietly after being extubated from the ventilator - she simply fell asleep in our arms. We will forever cherish the time we had with her and the enormous privilege we had to be parents to her. There will always be an Abby-shaped hole in our hearts and family, but her memory, love and character will live on amongst us and we're sure, many of you too.

The prayers, messages, e-mails, texts, phone calls, and practical help offered by countless people over these last three and a half years is a humbling testament to the power of good and friendship in the people who know and love us. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. We simply could not have got through it without you.
"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me."
Love and blessings,

Matt, Nix, Becky and Josh Freestone

Dear Nix, Matt, Joshua and Becky.
Our thoughts have been with you all day. It was a real comfort to us all to read today's update and know that little Abby passed away quickly and in your arms.
It was an honour to know her and play a part in her life. I can't believe that it is nearly 2 years since Pauline and I went to visit her over in Eltham and then our excitement when at last you moved into Bromley and could come and join us in Hedgehogs class.
We will be in touch very soon. Meanwhile all our love to you

We met Abby once at her Auntie & Uncle's house (Kerry & Chris). Something about her touched our lives in a way that is difficult to explain. We are sure the light she shone here on earth is even brighter in heaven.
With love and prayers ...

Dear Nix, Matt, Rebekah and Josh
We will always have Abby in our hearts.
We`ll remember her gorgeous curly hair, her long beautiful eyelashes but most of all her strength of character. She was an inspiration to us and we feel priviledged to have been part of her life.
She could not have been born to a better family and you should feel proud that she had over 3 lovely years with you.
Jemima especially will miss her cuddles with Abby but knows there is a special angel in heaven now.
love always Erika, Tom, Jake, Jemima and Ella xxxxx
